White-label back office for Amazon & TikTok Shop | Engin8
Back office & white label

Your brand on the front. Our floor behind it.

Engin8 runs the unglamorous half of a marketplace business — catalog hygiene, case filing, advertising ops, buyer messages, creative production, reporting — under someone else's name. Agencies, brands with lean teams, and software companies wrapping services around a product all buy the same thing: execution that doesn't show up on their org chart.

Why this exists

Back office is the work nobody wants to hire for and nobody can skip.

It's high-volume, low-glamour, and it never stops. It also decides whether the strategy anyone paid for actually lands. Three things happen when a team tries to absorb it.

01
Margin

It eats the account

A retainer that looked healthy on the proposal gets consumed by case filing and buyer emails. The senior person you sold gets pulled into queue work, and the margin quietly disappears into hours nobody billed for.

02
Coverage

It breaks on one person

One coordinator holds the whole operational load. They take leave, they resign, they get sick — and suppressions sit for a week, buyer messages age past SLA, and the client finds out before you do.

03
Ceiling

It caps what you can sell

You turn down accounts, or take them and hope. Either way the constraint isn't demand and isn't talent at the top — it's that nobody wants to build and manage an operations floor to win one more logo.

What "back office" actually means

Every function, named.

"Back office" is a vague phrase people use to avoid scoping. Here is the actual work, by channel. You take all of it, or you take the rows you're bleeding on.

Nothing here is a strategy service. Strategy stays with you — that's the point. If you want us making the calls too, that's Amazon Full Service or TikTok Shop Management.

Three ways to engage

How visible we are is your decision, not ours.

The delivery is identical across all three. What changes is who the client thinks is doing it and who holds the relationship.

01
Fully white-labelled

Invisible

We never appear. Reports, decks and files ship in your template with no Engin8 metadata. We don't join client calls, don't email the end client, and don't hold their contract. You bill your client at your rate; we bill you at ours.

Best for — agencies and consultants protecting a client relationship.

02
Embedded

Named operators inside your team

Specific people, dedicated to you, in your Slack and your tools, on your process. They appear as your team. Engin8 carries employment, benefits, training and cover for leave and turnover.

Best for — teams that want continuity and control over day-to-day priorities. This is Staffing.

03
Co-managed

Shared, with us on the calls

We run the operational load and join client calls as a named part of your team. You keep strategy and the relationship; we take the execution and answer for it directly when asked.

Best for — partners who'd rather have depth in the room than maintain a fiction.

Who does the work

An owned floor, not a network of contractors.

The delivery operation sits at Cebu IT Park in the Philippines and has run since 2015 — first as the engine behind Seller Investigators, the founders' Amazon reimbursement business acquired by Carbon6, now behind Engin8 and its partners.

That matters because reimbursement recovery is unusually punishing operational work. It is high-volume, evidence-driven, and every claim either clears or doesn't. A floor built to run that reliably is a floor that can run catalog and case queues without drama.

Meet the team →
  • Employed, not sourced per project. Contracts, payroll, benefits, training and performance management sit with us.
  • Overlapping hours. Cebu shifts overlap the US working day, so handoff happens in conversation rather than in an overnight batch.
  • Continuity is our problem. Leave, illness and turnover are covered on our side. Your client sees no gap.
  • SOPs, not tribal knowledge. Every function runs from a documented procedure, so a second operator can pick it up the same day.
  • AI clears the surveillance load. Monitoring, anomaly detection and search-term hygiene run overnight so human hours go to judgment and exceptions.

What is your back office costing you in-house?

Not the salaries. The salaries plus employer costs, plus the senior hours pulled into queue work at a rate you could have billed. Set your own inputs.

2
$58,000

6
$150
3
$3,000

The last two inputs are the honest part. Most agencies underrate the cost of the accounts they quietly decline.

Annual cost of carrying it yourself
$293,240
Payroll and burden, plus senior time at your own billing rate, plus the revenue you turn away.
Fully loaded payroll$143,840
Senior hours lost to queue work$41,400
Revenue declined for lack of capacity$108,000
Cost per account you currently run—

What an Engin8 back office costs depends on channel mix, account count and volume, and we put it in writing after a 30-minute scoping call. We don't publish a rate card because a two-account catalog load and a twenty-account one aren't the same product.

Getting started

First account live inside two weeks.

Most of the elapsed time is legal, not operational.

Day 0

Scoping call

Thirty minutes on channel mix, account count, volume and which rows of the function matrix you actually want. You leave with a written scope and a price.

Days 1–5

Paper

Mutual NDA, master agreement, non-solicit. Per-client schedules sit under the master so account two doesn't need a new contract.

Days 5–8

Transfer

Access provisioned under your permissions, your brand kit loaded, your SOPs mapped against ours, escalation paths and reporting cadence agreed.

Days 8–14

Live

First account running, first report in your template. Every account after this one starts at this step.

Scope a back office

Start with the scoping call.

Thirty minutes. We map what you're carrying, what it's costing, and which functions are worth moving first. You get a written scope and a price whether or not you proceed.

  • No minimum account count to start a conversation.
  • Mutual NDA before anything client-specific is discussed.
  • Written scope and price — not a proposal deck.

How a day runs

Your evening handoff is our working day.

The queue is worked while your team is offline, and what lands in the morning is a report rather than a backlog. Tabs advance on their own — click to hold one open.

You close the day. The queue opens.

Whatever your team didn't get to — cases, listing fixes, messages, creative edits — is already in the queue with priorities attached. Nothing needs to be re-explained, because the SOP is the brief.

  • Tickets triaged against your priority rules.
  • Escalation thresholds agreed up front.
Evening handoff

The floor works it.

Catalog hygiene, case filing, advertising ops, buyer messaging and creative production run through trained pods on documented SOPs, with AI clearing the surveillance load so human hours go to the work that needs judgment.

  • QA sampling on output, not just completion.
  • Anything ambiguous is flagged, never guessed.
Overnight floor

You open a report, not a backlog.

What was cleared, what was escalated and what needs a decision from you — in your own template if you're reselling this, with no Engin8 branding anywhere near it.

  • White-label deliverables by default.
  • Decisions surfaced, not buried.

It is an outsourced execution team that runs the operational work of an Amazon or TikTok Shop account — catalog, cases, buyer messages, advertising operations, creative production and reporting — under the client-facing brand of whoever hired it. The end client sees one agency; the work is done by another.

Not unless you tell them. In a fully white-labelled engagement we hold no contact with your end client, ship all reports and files in your brand template with metadata stripped, and work under access you grant and revoke. If you would rather we appear as a named part of your team, the co-managed model does that instead.

Not under a back-office agreement. Back office is execution against your direction, which is what keeps it invisible and keeps your client relationship intact. If you want Engin8 owning the decisions, that is Amazon Full Service or TikTok Shop Management, sold either direct or white-labelled to you.

Yes, and most partners do. Buyer messages and case filing are the usual first moves because they are the highest-volume, lowest-judgment rows on the matrix. Catalog and advertising operations typically follow once the reporting rhythm is established.

It depends on channel mix, account count and volume, so there is no published rate card. A two-account catalog load and a twenty-account one are different products. You get a written scope and price after a thirty-minute call, before any commitment.

A VA is one person you manage, train and cover for. A back office is a floor with documented procedures, a second person who can pick up any task the same day, and continuity through leave and turnover as our obligation rather than yours. The comparison is not hourly rate against hourly rate — it is whether the work stops when one person does.

Cebu IT Park in the Philippines, with US leadership in Beacon, New York. Shifts overlap the US working day. The operation has run since 2015 and was originally built to deliver Amazon reimbursement recovery at volume.

Terms are set in the master agreement and depend on scope and volume. We confirm them in writing at scoping rather than surfacing them after you have committed.

Stop absorbing the work you can't bill for.
